Snow Lepards

Capture the Flag

I'm crushing the stones, as my heart is pumping waiting for the whistle to get blow. I dashed for the line. I made it. I Searched for the the scatter treasure. I found one I dashed, Suddenly out of know where the defender showed up. I stood behind a tyre. I tried to get the tyre to get the treasure. Crunch! I dived for the treasure . I got it. I looked back at the field and saw people disappointed because their tagged, people running and diving to get the treasure or getting tagged.

My Adventure

Well it started off that my dad had to go to his appointment. We went past the margaret mahy playground and mum said "we will go on the playground while you have your appointment.

The first thing I played on was the big slide. Me and my brother when down the big slide together he didn't put down his feet down and he fell on his bum. We loved the slide so much because we played on it.

Next I climbed my way to the top of the net. I was frustrated at first to move around. My mum said "try to flick your self through a hole". I try it but my foot didn't grip on and I hang there. I had another try and I was as quick as my brother.

Mum ask us if we wanted to play on the flying fox. We said "yes please" so we went to the flying fox and lined up. I was glad that there was two flying foxes. I tried to stand on it. I did it. Mum took a photo of me as I zip past her. Me and brother had races it was amazing.

By the time we had finished on the flying fox it was time to pick up my dad. That was a awesome adventure. It was still fun even though it was built for little kids. I thought it was very interesting the bugs and stuff that was shaped into the path. So that was my adventure.

100 word challenge

The ship roams the rough sea. From high up, Elvis clutches tightly to the lookout wall. He squints through spray coating the end of his rusty telescope.
Suddenly, he spots a dark shape in the swooshing waves. It’s a ship, but something’s wrong.
It is beached on the silky sand. Its crew have abandoned it.
All aboard must have escaped just before the damaged ship mysteriously sunk.
Carefully, Elvis creeps closer and peers at the wreck. He sees ragged holes in the side where the salty, foaming water rages into the hold.

The mystery of the sunken ship is solved.

Rumbling unexpected sound
Under the ground plates vibrate
Mumbling people while buildings crumble
Big storms blow the big trees down
Lights out says mums and dads as they help us
Earthquakes rumble the cracking sea bed
